Date & Location: March 2nd, 2009 Hell's Roar Resort (some of the group Moonlight Basin)
Snow & Weather: 50 degrees and mushy
Vertical feet & runs: 850 ft 12 runs
Season Total: 177,680 ft 502 runs
Comments: Rode with Ernesto & Roley. Rest of the BFGSC went to Moonlight Basin (Ernesto the animal did both). We are saving our legs for the freshies. I built the terrain park solo. Then Roley, Ernesto and I did some mad jibbin. My favorite was the "Metal Air". There was a big kicker and a fun box made out of two coolers. Thanks to Christina and Ernesto for being the chair lift operators and special thanks to CJ for being the only social and cool guy to hang out with us. It's fun to have fun on the fun box!
Roley: It's fun having fun in the fun park known as Hell's Roar!
rest of group from Moonlight Basin:
Vicki: Nice relaxing day at Moonlight Basin riding mostly groomers. Snow started to get mashed potato and turnded icy later in day- ended day going up chair I never thought I would (chair to Headwaters) and then down Challenger side with Greg, Brent, and Terra- good way to end day!
Terra: Lazy day with a little park. Groomers burn my legs...ready for some snow dump. We (sorta) poached Challenger @ the end of the day. Woot Woot!
Greg: Fire hole!! Brent & I defied death, hiked 20 minutes, conquered our fear & worked our way down a seriously scary, sketchy, rocky chute. We rock... I'm just saying :)
Brent: Ok, I was scared. I told Greg I would follow him anywhere. Fire Hole took it to a new level. We needed to get out of the ice rinks below. Poached Big Sky to cap the day!
